Biv – Punakaiki

The Biv is set in the Punakaiki bush, and as described by Architect Mitchell Coll, the aesthetic concept was a reinterpretation of a historic gold-mining hut, but with all the modern facilities to warmly welcome travelers and encourage them to have a uniquely West Coast and New Zealand experience. The precision and quality of finish required in the construction this special dwelling, made this project stand out for those involved.
